Paul B. Howell

Paul B. Howell was born in Jackson, Mississippi in 1957. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Mississippi where he served as editor of the Daily Mississippian. Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and political science in 1979. Subsequently, he attended the University of Mississippi Law School where he served as a member of the Moot Court Board. He graduated in 1981.

Paul moved to Gulfport, Mississippi and joined Franke & Salloum, PLLC in 1982. He is a partner in the firm and practices mainly in the areas of workers’ compensation defense under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Act. He is a member of the Harrison County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Fifth Circuit Bar Association, the Mississippi State Bar, the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute. He is on the Benefits Review Board Service Advisory Board and lectures on Federal and State Workers’ Compensation issues.

Paul and his wife have three children and attend Trinity Methodist Church. He is also active in the Kiwanis Club.
